TRAINING

The Geo3En curriculum will be tested with the help of 8 training activities, the Intensive Study Programmes  and the developed innovative pedagogical tools. These training will serve to test the compatibility of the curriculum in the fields of:

1)    Reservoir geology and numerical simulations (France)

2)    Heat and power system management (Croatia)

3)    Rock petrophysics & underground geothermal energy storage, life cycle assessment, modelling (Germany)

4)    Material science: corrosion, scaling and material optimization, turbine engineering and entrepreneurship (Iceland)

The innovative pedagogical tools will be tested during the training and in the framework of existing Master courses.


 

Planning  of ISP Training Activities :

  • 28.03.2022 – Kick-off meeting (online) with students
    – Short presentation of each partner describing the ISP program, implementation and learning outcomes.
    – Invitation to students to form groups with students from each Geo3En university and select a team leader.
    – Description of the students’ projects – geothermal facility design based on input data on site characteristics – business model and plan of investments.
  • 04.04. – 08.04.2022 – Online activity: TUDA ISP Preparation courses
  • 11.04. – 15.04.2022 – Online activity: ULS ISP Preparation courses
  • 19.04. – 22.04.2022 – Online activity: UniZG FER ISP Preparation courses
  • 25.04. – 29.04.2022 – On-site activity: ISP UniZG FER in Zagreb, Croatia
  • 09.05. – 13.05.2022 – On-site activity: ISP ULS in Colmar, France
  • 16.05. – 20.05.2022 – On-site activity: ISP TUDA in Darmstadt, Germany
  • 13.06. – 17.06.2022 – Online activity: RU ISP Preparation courses
  • 20.06. – 24.06.2022 – On-site activity: ISP RU in Reykjavik, Iceland. On the last day of this ISP students will present their projects.
  • 28.06.2022 – Deadline for the ISP written students’ project reports
  • 30.06.2022 – Evaluation of the ISP reports by Geo3EN consortium partners.

 


The 8 training activities and the innovative pedagogical tools will be evaluated by the students and by the teaching staff. In addition, the student’s competence acquisition will be evaluated and double degree agreements between the partners will be drafted and signed.
